SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — More than 100 local students had the chance to show their creative talents on Wednesday. The Access the Arts program at SPAC held its final performance share.

Students of all ages from local Arc chapters and Aim services performed dances, sang songs, and took part in improvised theater games. Organizers said the goal is to give people of all abilities a chance to shine in the spotlight.

“I think our main goal at SPAC School of the Arts is inclusivity, so we are all about breaking down barriers and inviting everyone in to enjoy the transforming power of arts programming,” SPAC School of the Arts Dir. Jess Bien said.

The students spent 10 weeks working on their performances. The initiative started last year. Organizers are excited about the amount of interest they have already received in the program.
